Bob Adriance

Bob started at BoatUS 29 years ago working in the BoatUS store (the only store at the time) and warehouse. For the past 20 years, he's written 100s of articles for Seaworthy , the BoatUS Marine Insurance damage-avoidance publication. Researching the articles typically includes reading numerous insurance claim files to discover the causes of various types of accidents as well as how they could have been prevented. He has written safety-related articles in The Ensign, On Deck, BoatU.S. Magazine, San Diego Log, Southwinds, Long Island Boating, and Professional BoatBuilder.

Bob is also author of Seaworthy, Essential Lessons of Things Gone Wrong, published in 2005 by International Marine/McGraw-Hill. The 265-page book is in its second printing.
