This spring, my dyco master cylinder was dry, a fitting leak that I fixed.

I tried to bleed the cylinder and lines, with a vacuum break bleeder kit, and after two fillings of the master cylinder, all I was getting was bubbles and fluid.

Pulled the boat and trailer to a RV shop where they bled the lines and master cylinder.  Works OK now.

Can anyone tell me how to bleed a dyco master cylinder?

Thanks!

You can use the break-away and pump and bleed like a car or use a pressure bleeder. I don't know why your vacuum brake bleeder didn't work. Did you let the master go empty? Did you bleed the farthest wheel first and work back towards the master?

The master was dry when I filled it.

I started with the front axel.

Any more comments are welcome.

Maybe you had the bleeder unscrewed too far and air was getting past the threads while you were pulling vacuum?

Here's how you do it manually.
